Default so i was doing some math

I am running the stock 91 accord lx down pipe (lower exhaust manifold) with my F23 engine...and when I was putting on my test pipe the other weak I measured the outlet...

1.4" diameter...

finally I found a deal on some a dc sports header...so they are on their way. but i thought i would do some math

i don't know what diameter the outlet is on the dc sports...but lets assume 2.25"

1.4" diamter equals 1.54" in total area
2.25" diameter equals 3.98" in total area

an increase of 258%

just thought i'd share my discovery...and if the butt dyno can't feel this mod...something is wrong

complain to dave im not hosting those pics, he probably took them off

well, deal or no deal i would send those dc's back to where they came from they will not support the kind of power you are looking for

well, i'm not making that power now...so I don't really care...right now I need a bolt on header...(current header doesn't even seal properly)...even when I do spray, i really don't think the dc will be hurting me a whole lot...

i respect your opinion man...and its usually a valid one...but you can't expect everyone to do things YOUR way...

i dont care if you do it my way or not, what im telling you is the dc header primaries and collector is too small, you dont have to go kamikaze, you can custom make your own 4-1 with 1-3/4" primaries and 2.5" collector, the thing is i know the kamis are the only ones out there with a 2.5" collector, this is not a d15, d16, b16, ac, or any b motor for that fact, alot of things change when you cross over the 2.0l mark in engine building, thats why all the manufactures use their testbeds as that, but again who i am to say ****? Nobody I guess so, whatever floats you boat, in the end its all about the numbers and flow rates.

and another thing, i dotn care whose way you do it, that shouldnt matter, the matter is its right and it proves itself so, so since i havent been to the dyno yet i guess the decision is for you to make. Godforbid someone has any vision whatsoever these days

Hey man where can I get kamikaze headers? I tried to search it but either i am retarded or it is. People on a budget need to copy people to get the most out of basic bolt ons otherwise they will be wasting there money trying all sorts of different parts, thats just my opinion. The only thing that bugs me is when someone copies what your car looks like to a tee that just messed up you gotta be original sometimes

HI friends of mine. I mean, show me the dyno where the Kamikazi makes more power. It very well may, but you are spouting off as if you have proof that this will work the best on his setup. Also, on ALL of the dyno's I've seen the K header loses MAD tq versus the others. I've haven't seen the accord dyno, but just saying it's not out of this world to doubt that product or choose another brand. I mean the dude is JUST telling his setup.

thats a good point...you don't have any proof that your exhaust is all you make it out to be
