battery light flashes ,car bogs until 3grand,battery dies
ok guys i need help i have a 92 si wit a ls swap in it using sohc engine harness and sohc bracket and alternator, ok car was running fine but bogging out until after 3grand for a month, than one day battery dies, i charge it again than it dies again, than i change the sohc vtec alternator to another one and buy a new battery at the same time..dies again tach stops, mph stops radio stops,ok i buy a brand new non rebuilt alt, and start it up good for 2 days than while punching it fuse under dash dies i change it. today battery light flash on and off until i press gas it died again..help guys i seached everywhere i changed all grounds, terminals and fuses. i think there is no power going to the alt how do i check if it is?? wats the volts i have a volt meter...
take your battery to autozone and let them check it.. while your there you can get yourself some tight vtak stickers yo
it ca be the crank pully it is two pices and they do go out what happend is the outer pice will break losse i have one that did it and some pics to refrece at low r's it wont spin as fast as it should at high grab and spin let me now
yea just checked the pullley out and it's good i'm gonna change the alt belt maybe it's not grabing cause it's old i think thats why at idle it's flashing than when i hold the gas it goes away, if thats not it i'm gonna test the alt for power cause i realize the kid who sold me the car the ring broke off on the postive terminal on the alt and he cut the white gauge wire off and spliced in a amp gauge wire lol ghetto..... maybe the gauge is not big enough for the power to go through if thats it i wonder it i can run a postive from the battery staight to the postive terminal on the alt???
talk to u guys soon lol
