What is Cosmo? Solidworks?
If you contact your local SW distributor they will usually give you a free student version. You just have to buy the book that goes with it (and sometimes they'll even
give you a last-year's book if they have them laying around).
If you go through the tutorials in SW and follow along diligently, you can become proficient within 2 weeks. I used SW about 8 hours a day for two years straight and there wasn't much I ever had problems with (or that I couldn't find help in the Help Files). Good luck! If you have specific questions feel free to e-mail me. I don't have it at this company, but I can try to help you from memory.
