wait till you have closer to 30 and buy the civic type r when it comes out.

 

20K doesn't leave much to play with but I think you could probably get a base model RSX for that price...if you're not in too much of a hurry I'd wait and get an RSX typeS but if you need it now...still a great car

 

find a used integ and fix it up nice! jdm conversion, turbo, etc.

 

That's what I would do. I can only image how sweet my g2 would be if I had $20,000 to spend on it...even if I had like $8,000-$10,000 it would be crazy fast!

 

Well......Thats tough. The civic R Idea is good, however plan on waiting to the spring of 2004 (don't let anyone tell you otherwise). I'm not much on spending ALL my money on a NEW car however. IMO get a good used car and build it up. I drive a civic coupe but if i had to do it all over i'd buy a 96 or newer hatch.

 

well, if you can wait till Spring'03 and have a couple G's more to throw down, you can get the Lancer Evo 7 now that is one sweet *** ride ... sorry..i know this is a honda forum...

 

get a 1998 s-10 pickup for 5000 dollars and pay 10000 to have a brand new LS6 (405 hp) put in there then spend the other 5000 on wheels and tires, suspension, looks and maybe some engine goodies. it would own and that's no lie

for 20k i would buy a 89 240sx coupe and put a sr20det in it then with the money left over i would buy a EG sedan and drop in a b18c for daily driving.
