Jumping and/or Erratic Idle
Quick and hopefully Minor Question: I have a 2000 Acura LS Four Door, and this morning out of the blue, I was warming up my car as usual. Did not do anything but I had this "jumping idle". Right now, the car is fine. I filled up my tank with gas and put some of that 5.99 STP Fuel Injector/Carburetor Cleaner and Treatment, and by the way this stuff is great. Anyway, if anyone can give me a heads up on this it will be greatly appreciated. Again, it just happen this morning, which I hope does not happen anymore. Can anyone give me a suggestion, or something out there that I can treat this so that it wont happen anymore. Thanks.
Idle Air Vavle Control
its a vlave that controls your idle. its behind your intake manifold held on by 2 10m bolts. take it out and clean the fitler and put it back. that should work, if it doesn't it may be sometihng else.

so all I have to do is unscrew these two 10mm bolt clean out the filters and then but back together? thanks a million, I go ahead and try that thanks for the advice..
Make sure you check your radiator fluid, if real low it causes the IAVC to act up i.e. close and open slow. If cleaning doesn't help, check if the denso motor on the vavle is dying, you can check with a ohm meter. I have to look in the manual to see what the ohm setting is.
