alright i have a 92 honda accord lx it broke down the other day i had left it running and when i came out of the store i put it in R and it started missing and shut off. I had it towed home and changed the fuel filter i got a little better but its still missing between 1,000 and 1,800 rpms. after the timing advances it seems to run fine till it shift in ot next gear then it does it again let me know what u think.

 

you need to pull your plugs anad check them. after that you need to test for spark at each wire........


might not be a bad idea to repalce cap and rotor.......

 

Hi, What was the problem? My 92 is doing the exact same, changed the rotor, cap, and new plugs, still does it.

 

I have a 90 Accord that starts missing after it gets warmed up, no codes are displayed and I not having any luck finding the problem. Any advice is appreciated.

I would try to take apart the intake manifold an unplugging the EGR ports, because they are probablt plugged up and this could cause what you are describing!

 

The EGR ports were plugged solid on my 92. It's running smooth under load now.
