Default Trumpet tubing to go from 60 mm to 2.5 inch??

I'm making a axle back system and need a trumpet (in think thats what its called) section of tubing to make a smooth transition from the 60mm cat to axle section to the 2.5 inch axle back section. I pretty much want to have a 2.5 inch es tuning muffler with 2.5 tubing front he axle back and keep my 60mm tanabe tubing. This will help ease the changing of muffler systems if I choose to do so. Now where can I find this section of tubing, I know they use it on complicated header designs.

its called a transition usually.

60mm to 2.5" isn't that big of a jump, you should have the 60mm expanded. its only like 3 or 4mm change in diameter.

Yeah, it's only 3.5 mm (.1378 in) difference. Hell, depending on your pipe thickness, you could just slip it on, smooth your inner transistions, weld it up, and be on your way.

well I'm going to keep the flange one the 60mm piping (it ends at the axle with a flange) so could I just use a 2.5 inch flange and weld the 2.5 piping to it and bolt it right up to the 60mm piping? Or would the flanges line up funny?

might be hard ot find a 60mm flange but a 2.5" one with the same bolt spacing (or with slots) could work. then you could just grind the inside edge of the 60mm one to meet the 2.5"
