Car wont start help please

Default Car wont start help please

so the other day i purchased a 94 ex with a bad motor in it so i swapp in my rebuit d16z6 in it, went to start it up nothing happened, and now the fuel pump dosent prime and the is no checkengine light whe you turn the key to the on poisitio,n help me please is been so long since i had a car!!!!

1. Previous owner removed the check engine light bulb to hide a problem with car.
2. Check your main relay, fuses, etc...
3. Does it crank? What does it sound like?

check the little 18 gauge wire to the starter. i beleve its the trigger wire from you ignition switch. i had it fall off on me during a trans swap in my dsm. i m-fed mfself for like a week after i figured out what it was.

the bad motor cranked but it had a bent rod and the cel came on before started doing this today and i checked that wire im think my wire harness is shot and i also swapped ecus for a nother p28 and same thing ahppened


think it could be a relay and if so where are those?

Relay is right on top of the hood latch. By your feet. stick your hand in there, it's a little 1.5"x4" black box with wires going in and out.

Check your main fuses! (Under the hood fuse box.)

I had a battery go bad, it blew the ecu fuse and fried my harness.
Check all your fuses ignition and ecu. All that start up stuff.

fusses are good ecu is good i used it before in my other car ingnition looks good im think it may be the engine harness im gonna take it out and inspect it
