Default Autopower Rollbar (One and Only, so far...) !!56k warning!!

Okay so it's been a while since I got the bar. I have been really busy at work and lazy when i get home. With some many people PM/IMing me here you go. The bar was unpainted when I took delivery of the car, so I painted it myself with Rustoleum Industrial Enamel. I would have powdercoated it but the front hoop is welded to the frame. So I had to tape up the entire car and pretty much disassemble the rear half of the car to paint it. I missed some spots but over all it came out nice.

You have to cut some of the factory plastic to get the plastic back in and I am currently working with a guy out here who said he might be able to fab up a plastic mold that would fit in place of the stock rool hoops cover but bend under the harness bar.

You'll see my amp in there too. It's bolted to a custom shelf I made. I will post another thread about the shelf in the electronics fourm.

Autopower has told me they will offer a weld in kit only (unsure as to when the might become available). In other words you have to weld the kit together. Should retail around $250.

Harness bar and cross brace are bolt in. I can remove them and have full functional use of the secert compartment.

Most of the interior is actually back in. There are 4 pieces that are not and they are the stock roll hoops cover. I am working with a guy who said he can make a new plastic mold and it will cover where the stock pieces fit, but it would bend under the harness bar much like the secert compartment.

Did you lose much seat room?

I'll have pics of my custom bar around the 2nd week of May.....

SCCA and NASA don't necessarily "approve" anything. But it did pass tech inspection for NASA. I did lose seat room on the passenger side and the drivers side I did lose some and it all depends on what angle the seat is at.

Material is 1 1/2" DOM tubing.
