h22 in 1984 accord?
My friend is getting a 84 accord for cheap. I don't know much about the accord but he was wondering if you can swap a h22 in to a 84 accord. We know that we will need a h22 wiring harness, p13 ecu, and i guess some custom motor mounts. Is there any company that makes motor mounts for the 84 accord so a h22 can bolt up?
any help would be greatly appreciated

how many miles is on the transmission right now? you might want a newer transmission. the stock motor only put out about 86 horses, i dont know if the transmission built for that would do well with such an increase with the h22.
IF you can fit the h22 in there, but i dont think you can fit an h series in an 84

No mounts are available for any kind of swap into a 2nd gen. If he did manage to swap something in, he'd need custom mounts and axles, just for starters. He'd also be the first I've heard of to complete a swap into a 2nd gen.
I'm not sure an H22 would fit. I don't believe there would be enough clearance between the motor and the firewall. (Actually, I think you'd need 2 or so more inches for the intake manifold to clear.)

I have seen b20a's swapped into 2nd gens. Here is some good info:
