Default strut bar install

should i jack the car up first to take the load off or can i just do it while the car is on the ground. i can reach the holes just fine.

Is the strut bar one piece? When I mounted my ITR front strut bar, I preloaded it by pushing down in the center (about 20 pounds of force) while tightening the four mounting bolts. If I did not do that, it rattled. It is a three piece unit.

try it with the car on the ground first if that doesn't work then lift up the front.

it's not that hard to install.

jack up the car so that more force is put on the strut bar, because you want it to take tension and be tight, because thats the purpose of the strut bar. you wouldnt want it to be loose
