ive been tryin to order some aftermarket rotors, but all the part numbers seem to either be for ex, and lx w/abs, or for dx/hx/lx without abs. never lists for ex with out abs.


so its like this
pt# xxxx = EX, LX w/ABS
pt# xxxx = Dx, HX, LX w/out ABS

i have a 96 EX without abs

i was trying to order cheap drilled sloted rotors with pbr pads off ebay for cheaper then the cheap pads and rotors at my local autozone/checker

 

Theyre saying "lx with abs", meaning it has the 10" rotors (that the ex has anyway);
whereas the lx non abs, has the smaller 9" rotors (=dx size)
The "abs" rotors are what you want.

Heres a tip too:
You dont need drilled rotors...dont get them (theyre stupid). Just get blanks from the local parts store

 

because... maybe *gasp* it doesnt matter!

Disc brakes on the EX's were the same wether you had ABS or not.
