i am trying to get my whole jdm amber dash light thing going on. but i had some questions. wha tkind of colored film do i use for the clock and climate control?, where do i find it at? and if i have lights out in my climate control, can they be replaced, or are the soldered into the unit? and how the hell do i get the radio lights changed? i have not tried yet, because i do not have the anti theft code! where do i get that too? plz give me a hand...
i searched this topic, but found very little info on the guts of it, i wanna make sure that i under stand what im doing before i gut my dash, again!

the lights in the climate can be changed, but it is a royal pain in the as*

i cut up both of my hands trying to get that thing out. the lights in the climate control are the same as the gauge cluster i do believe (92-95 hatch)

as for changing the clock, you need the special 3M tape, which will light up amber

as for the cluster, just buy amber bulbs from wal-mart/pep boys

 

i got all but the radio and the climate control/air mixture slide. i couldnt get it off. i usrd some amber turn signal model paint for the clock, cause i couldnt find the 3m tape. but if i can find it i'll change it. the paint looks ok but the tape would be best. does anyone have a write up on how to get climate control and radio out of the dash, i still would like to change my bulbs in there...bump...bump
