Default 3 Consecutive mornings my car wont start ??

Hello all, its been 3 consecutive mornings that my car wont start right away. Its clicking but its not turning at all. What I'm doing is I pressed my clutch a few times and it will start. This morning when I finally started the car, my brake sign on my dash board turn on and off so many times, and finally stop. It dissappear everytime I press on my brake. Do you think my clutch safety swicth is messed up that's why it wont start? Where is it located at? Or is it my clutch? The car is 95GSR with 138K+ miles on it.

Second problem: Few weeks ago I notice that everytime I back up on my carport, (foot not on the brake) there some sound coming from the rear area, its not exactly squeaking but it sound's like when your driving an automatic car when you let the break a little bit they make sound. It's hard to explain but I can only hear it when backing up. Any Idea?

If it is clutch switch, what do I need to do? Replace or clean it?

that seems to be a different prob something wit your brakes check the Reservoir to ensure its full and again check all of your grounds. Could be battery how old is it. Try getting a jump from someone if it starts right up the charge on your battery is low.

They can check both, but they have to be out of the car, easy for the batt, but not the starter. Def sounds like the battery, if it was the starter it wouldn't just do after it sat overnight. The battery will lose charge and be harder to start the longer it sits when it is going bad. If it's not a sealed batt, pull the caps and see if it has a dry cell.

If your battery was going up you'd notice it by it getting slow to start. If your battery terminals are not getting good contact it will make it click like that. Clean your terminals w/wire brush and cleaner, than spray battery terminal sealant on it. Your starter could very well be taking a dump as well. Clean your battery first, and see what happens.

Default all

I just have my battery replace two months ago. The clutch switch is out, that's not the problem. Now I'm thinking either its my starter or my fuel pump. The car starts either the 3rd up to 5th time of trying.

How do you tell if your fuel pump is failing?

starter not turning motor will not be the fuel pump lol?

because a battery is two months old doesn't mean it isn't bad. do the lights dim when you try to start it? you need to be checking if battery is ok... if starter is ok.. or if main relay is ok.... or if ignition switch in column is ok...

If it is the starter, you can buy a $20 Toyota starter rebuild kit and replace the copper terminals. Let me know if you need more info.

Can you be more specific about the Toyota starter rebuild kit. Just go to Toyota place and ask for starter rebuild kit, no model or what year?
