Worst Dealer Markup on Si you've seen
Where's that pic of the Si in SF with the $13k markup?
This just crossed my inbox this morning from an un-named Ventura County Honda Dealer:
In Stock: Civic Si Coupe Galaxy Gray
W/Summer Tires $21040
Underbody Spoiler Kit $1995.00
18" Alloy Wheels & Tires $2495.00
Express Care In $389.00
Express Care Out $389.00
Window Tinting $395.00
Total $26703
They say "never a markup", but can someone please explain to me how "Express Care" isn't a markup? Is that like paying a dude almost $400 to remove the paper floor mats from your car?

I don't know why you don't want to name the dealer, but don't tell me this dealer is in a town with the initials T. O.? They told me a few days ago no mark up either.
This jerkoff sales manager at Planet Honda in NJ actually walked up to an si while my wife and I were checking it out in the showroom and posted a $5000.00 Market Adjustment Price in front of my face on the passenger side window. I burst out laughing in his face and walked out.
Mind you this car was already sold and the owner was not allowed to take her home until another si arrived to takes it place on the showroom floor. Now that's a dealership Honda should be proud of
I already had my white on order from another dealership for MSRP and was there only checking out the FBP color, lol what an *******.

That's just plain arrogance and bad PR. A sour experience like that gives Honda a bad name. I wonder if Honda NA takes note of complaints about that sort of thing?

i called about the dealer selling the car i had a deposit and vin for
and they are unable to do anything but mediate you and them
they cant force a dealer to sell you a car at a price... MSRP is SUGGESTED pricing
so if everyones marking them up 2k
there is nothing honda can do
and honestly... i dont think honda cares due to Honda finance getting all that revenue lol
and sales aren't hurting along with market value
