Apexi or Tein?
i wanted to take a vote on which suspension i should get. I saw that the Apexi world sport full coilovers run for about 900. Then i saw that Tein has the SS coliover for about 950. Which one is do you guys think has 1) a better ride quality? 2) has better control for the car? and 3) would look better on the car. thanks for the help
I SELL BOTH AND HAVE TRYED BOTH PRODUCTS AND CURRENTLY USE THEM ON MY FIANCES ACCORD AND THEY RIDE REALLY SMOOTH AND HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WAT SO EVER THE TIENS ARE OK BUT FOR THE PRICE I REALLY LIKE THE APEXI TIEN WILL CONTINUE TO BE ON THE LOWER END OF MY LIST...

so your saying that you would rather choose the apexi over the tein. How is the ride for both. like feel more road?

To answer your questions:
1) They are both a street coilover with comfort in mind with the low spring rates so i wouldn't worry about the comfort. They should both be pretty comfortable.
2) If you are looking for something that would make your car handle better, these are very marginal compared to something such as GC/ Koni Yellows. If you want something that handles well but don't mind the compromise of the ride quality, I would choose the GC/ Koni Yellows.
3) For the ride height, the SS and the World Sport are both height adjustable BUT they do have a trade off for being a lower end coilover. Since they don't have a seperate perch for just the ride height and the spring preload, you can only lower them so much without really sacrifcing performance or durablilty. If you are looking to slam your car, I would recommend a coilover with a height adjustable threaded body such as the D2's or the Form and Function Coilovers.
So in my opinion, I would look into the GC/ Koni Yellow setup if you are looking for performance BUT if you want an overall coilover that does everything well then I would opt for the D2's or the Form and Function Coilovers. These are all in the sponser pages so you might want to check it out. Good luck in finding your right suspension set up

Tein springs aren't very good, they are said by most to be way to soft. I've definitely heard of D2 suspension, they are good quality, that is why he recommended them to you.
