Hi guys. I got the above time mid way through 7 runs at the weekend. Now I didnt buy the teg for drag racing, more circuit use but the Honda guys were going so I thought why not. Just wondering if that sounds like a decent time, and do you reckon it could be bettered by a great deal. I have to admit my launching was pretty crap . The only mod on the car was the catalyst removal, and a bit of weight reduction, namely, frp bonnet, no rear seat, no spare, no jack.

 

That is pretty good. It could do a little better.

 

Its a decent time. You'll get better.

 

what was your 60" what was your trap speed?

 

thats really good, its going to be hard to get any faster stock, fastest i've seen is 14.3 with falken's on stock itr,

 

if u pull 1.9-2.0 60fts, then it will go 14.0 or faster

i've never seen a 14.0 or lower on a stock itr, MAYBE with slicks,

s2000's have a hard time breaking into 13's stock that is.

Acticeaero ran a 13.7@100.42mph on a stock R.

that must be the record for a bone stock itr, im not saying its never happened, but realistically most itr's are in the 14.5 range,

he must have had freak motor

seems you guys are getting sensitive, remember itr's are circuit not drag. lol

 

a strong itr motor will trap 98mph or more. my jdm itr motor in my teggy went 14.3@98 with a 2.3 60 ft, so im sure with traction it would be way faster.

 

My best 60ft time was on the 14.5 run and was 2.465 with a reaction time of 1.008. I have to emphasis that the car is jdm standard spec and this was my first ever time on a drag strip. Best reaction time of the 7 runs was 0.863

 

i think 14.5 with a 2.4 60" is pretty good.
