do factory plug wires have yellow dots

my brother has a 96' civic hx with the stock motor in it and he hasn't changed the plug wires yet and my question is do the factory plug wires have yellow/white dots on them

factory wires do not have yellow dots on them. Unless that is corrosion on the plug wire.
