Did a track day this weekend on a very tight course that was really hard on brakes. glazed the pads all the way around turned the stock rotors blue and hot spotted the hell out of them. I was on stock pads all the way around. So i need to do an upgrade...what pads are you track guys running? this is also my daily driver so i need something that doesnt require TOO much time to heat up. but i am lookign for soemthing with more bite and better heat resistance.


P.S. Rotax powered single speed 125cc race kart makes an S2k feel like an ocean liner! HAHAHHAHA

 

Ive tried Cobalt GT's, but they where to noisy on the street for me also brake dust.

 

Cobalt GT's would be good for street/track use

I suggest you also change your brake fluid to something with a higher boiling point, ATE superblue or motul

 

Hawk HPS, Cobalt GT, Pagid RS-4 are all good choices. SS lines and higher-temp fluid would help as well.

 

Where is a good place to buy Hawk or Porterfield pads?
