Default Crankshaft Knife

Has anyone ever took there gsr crankshaft in to get it knife by a auto shop? How did it improve the after performance of the car and how much did it cost for labor everything?

I wouldnt recommend knife edging your crank. You have the possibility of throwing your crank off balance causing vibrations and rough idle. Techinically it would allow your car to rev higher more quickly, but I wouldnt do this on a street car, hell I wouldnt even do this to a race car, im not trying to squeeze out every possible hp here

from what i have read on a b18c motor it doesnt affect anything seeing how the crank isnt submerged in the oil which is one of the reasons to knife edge the crank besides lightening up. your better off micro polishing and balancing. hope that helps

modern cars do not need a knife edged crank, older muscle cars did.

Leave the crank alone, drugz are bad mmmkay?
