Default suspension that works? suggestions?

Hey everybody, i'm plannin on upgrading my suspension on my 1990 Dx. I'm
kinda on a budget. Can you guys give me some suggestions on what spring
and shock combo is good? It's a daily driver so comfort matters but i'm
also trying to lower it by at least 1.5". Also, what combination of strut
bars (front and rear), lower tie bar, and sway bars should I use? Would it
be overkill to get them all? I'm new to suspension tuning so please help.

Thanks,
Hung

i'm by no means an expert, but on my 88 dx i have front upper strut bar, rear upper strut bar, lower rear tie bar, and a rear sway bar from any Si hatch or crx. I LOVE the way it handles, so stiff and responsive, when you drop your coilovers all the way you stick to the road like crazy!!! I don't think it's overkill personally!

as far as coilovers, you could always go with the cost effective skunk coils and tokico blues! not a bad setup,.

No name strut bars(front, rear, rear lower)
used tokicos / shocks (less then 6 months)
90-93 teg rear sway bar
eng. sus. poly bushing kit
ingalls rear camber kit

IMO that is the best relatively cheep setup that will last and work GREAT!!
