b16 Y1 Transmission internal shaft poping in and out

b16 Y1 Transmission internal shaft poping in and out
the internal drive shaft inside of the transmission is poping out alittle bit and then it starts making rough clunking noises. i took out the transmission and push the shaft back into its possition and it spins fine. but it doesnt lock in its original possition.
