Default How does this exhaust setup sound?

So I've had a 5Zigen Fireball exhaust for some time now (no cat) and lately I'm just getting tried of the loudness. Instead of putting a cat on I'm going to buy an OEM ITR muffler and have it welded on.

I want the stock look and hopefully it will quiet it down a lot. Anyone see any harm in this and will it sound decent?

Thanks.

I am wondering, what size piping are you currently using?

I want to say the piping on my exhaust is about 2 1/2 inches, I know the ITR one is smaller and will affect pressure but as long if it's quieter I won't mind the slight performance loss.

Eh, I'd rather hear the motor over the exhaust anyway.

So did your friend's OEM axleback bolt right onto the b pipe??

Oh yeah. Just get a cat. That will solve your problems. I have a fireball on my gutted out eg coupe with a B16 in it. So doing 80 mph down the freeway, I am at 4500 rpm with the b16 tranny. It isn't loud at all.

Fireball IS loud w/o a cat.

And good point Bolo, I just hope it will bolt up and be a lil quieter...
