damn 4 inch drop??you crazy man..thats like driving without the tires/rims.i would never drop it that low.specially i live in san diego cali..yikes..the roads overhere are are shiiittyyyy..but anyways..heres my ride...im dropped 2.50 all around.w00t w00t.
you wont believe this but i've been running on STOCK SHOCKS/STRUTS for 2 years now and none of them even blew up yet..crazy huh?.and the handling/feeling of the ride is like stock.and im using goldline springs..rated #1 uhhh!.well anyways..im guessin it looks higher because im sittin on stock shocks/struts??do you think im gonna be more dropped if im on aftermarket shocks/struts like tokico's alluminas??
I have H&R race springs with Koni yellows. The spring drop is 2 in the front 1.75 in the rear. Nice drop on stock struts. When I upgraded to the Koni's I was able to raise and lower the vehicles ride height by and inch (higher and lower). Just keep that in mind... the lower I went the worse the ride was because my shocks would bottom out. I am happy with the ride height being higher on a firmer setting (it doesn't look as good I'll admit) but the ride quality is much better than when it was slammed.
I have 1.5"F and 1.25"R drop on Neuspeed sports for now. I used to have the race ones, which are 1.75"F and 1.5"R, and I could tell the difference because I don't scrape coming out of my driveway with the sport springs.
If you want to get rid of the fender gap, I suggest you go with a 1.7" drop over the 1.5" since you are running thinner tires than I am.
