Default NHRA 6 point roll bar approved?

Not sure the thickness of this, but I would imagine it is 1 3/4'' thick. It is mild steel and comes with a few plates for the side and front points....other then that I am seeing if some of you guys would know if the bends and plateform of this roll cage would be legal for NHRA...here goes the direct link:

You need plates on all mounting points as far as I know. Id like to know if the shock tower thing will pass tech as well though....I would like to go to the shock towers on my BMW if it is.

That'l work fine for you. As long as it is .118 thick MINIMUM...normally they go to .134" thick just to be sure. That shock tower setup should be fine, but will require mounting plates there as well. As stated, all mounting points must have the plates under them.
