Default Major Sport Compact Drag Racing events in the last four years?

Working on a time line for an article... can anyone help out?

I need some major sport compact drag racing events that have occurred in the last four years. i.e. the first 7 second Honda pass, 6 second, etc. And anything else that might be pertinent. Just need month/year, would be fantastic if you guys can help out.

Thanks

4-01 first nhra race in texas
6-01(?) rado first fwd into the 8's(??).. reading(?)
4-02 scranton breaks 200mph... gainesville
10-02 ioannou first in the sixes.. englishtown
4-04 first fwd in 7's (hoyos)... moroso
10-05 first fwd to 200mph (ladwig)... pomona

lingenfelter was first 4 cyl doorslammer in the sixes... october pomona or oregon 02(??)

rau first import 4 cyl doorslammer in sixes at ohio 2005
titan, first street tire in 7's last month in texas
bergenholtz, first import-powered fwd in 7's... pomona 04
first sport compact crossover: pomona winternationals 04... carlson goes pro stock(trees warren johnson in rd 2 of eliminations)... you could make a case for grant downing being crossover, but he was in the big show BEFORE coming to the sport compact ranks

thats all i can think of on the top of my head

not positive about rado or lingefelter info or dates

Didnt the turbonetics celica go 200 mph first at E Town during the fall nationals years ago. They even got awarded the 25k check from summit if im not mistaken. The efantis's also went 7.9@ E Town last year during the spring nats on a street tire.

do'h... both nelson and lisa went 7's that weekend... but lisa did it in round 1 of qualifying.... i was sitting right there when it happened

i believe jason, you went into the 9's for the first time in spfwd competition that same weekend???? (or maybe, it was breaking the record at the time?) i know both you and ballard went 9's that same weekend

my bad on the fwd 200mph(i was thinking of the current fwd record at pomona)... ladwig hit 200mph 10/05 at atco
first fwd AND the first 4 cylinder to hit 200mph in nhra

erik was first all motor(fwd) pass

hartford was definately the first to 200mph, and it was in gainesville

i still cant remember when lingenfelter went 6's
wasnt pomona though... that was the date of his now fatal accident

lummus was first hot rod in 7's(unibody fwd), englishtown 10/04

Jason,

You should call Phil Burgess at National Dragster - he is wealth of info on this stuff. Or see Mike Jex (Fast News Network) at the NHRA events (he had done the NHRA Sport Compact instant results for years).

Scranton was the first to go 200mph (202.25 mph) at the Springnationals at Etown (5/02)

JoJo Callos records first 8-sec Hot Rod pass in NHRA history (8.893 seconds) at the Springnationals at Etown (5/02)

Ara gets the first 6-sec (6.984 sec) Sport Compact pass in history at the Fallnats at Etown (10/02)

Gardella was the first Hot Rod to 8.4 sec (8.459)and 180 mph (180.31)in history at Etown Fall nats (10/03)

Hoyos first Pro FWD over 190mph (192.38) at Pomona 2003

Durst was the first All Motor to the 9's (9.934) at Pomona 2003

Kubo was the first FWD in the world into the 7's (7.963 seconds) at the NHRA Moroso event (4/04)

Ibarra was the first rotory powered drag car in the world over 200mph (204.29) at Etown Fallnats (10/04)

Ladwig recorded the first 200+mph pass (202.02) in a FWD drag car in history at Atco (5/05)

Personett runs the first 6.4 pass (6.498) in sport compact history at Atco (5/05)

Quickest side by side pass in SC history - Personett (6.498 @ 217.12) v. Hartford (6.611 @ 212.96)

Lingenfelter was the first 4 cyl in the 6's at Pomona (6.993 @ 197) (10/02)

All the past NHRA SC event results are on the NHRAsportcompact.com website.

I thought Grant Downing was the first to run 6.9xx's @ BOTI in Joliet RTE 66 in '02 in the venom truck.

Dont forget Ed Bergenholtz was the first FWD unibody in the 9's, and Steph was the first FWD tube chassis in the 9s... dont remember the date tho, i think it was 97 or 98...
