Didn't you see those when taking the pic?
When did you get them?
Yeah, I knew they were there. Just snapped a quick pic on hi-res while I was at my folks' for Easter. They were getting the deck rebuilt, so there were boxes and crap everywhere.
Side note - those boxes were from all the tools the contractor had to buy after his crew's tools were stolen from in front of our house
Someone photochop the boxes out!!
[edit] Sack - Ordered them from the local Acura shack a week or two ago... No problems getting them at all

Those bezels look nice...
What did you do with the switch? Did you just take it off and leave the wires in the door?

Nice. I like the RS bezels.
One of my friends took a different approach. He wired a relay into the door lock circuit that only allows it to receive power when the ignition is on ACC or ON, thus adding a measure of security without the loss of the switch.

ok a few questions about the non-powered door locks. do they still work with keyless entry?? what do they go for?

Willard is going to find me a sunroof switch to wire for the locks. Several ITR-NC f00s have taken that approach. Convenience without the security risk

Nighthawk - RS bezels do not affect the operation of the power locks themselves, they merely remove the silver "lock/unlock" tab. As mentioned earlier in the thread, they're about $15/pair from Acura.

MK Ultra do you want to talk more about this???? It sounds like a good idea if I understand what you are doing... Are you trying to use a sunroof switch as a power switch to the door locks or something?
The brain for the PLD system is inside the drivers door. The wiring from the pass. door goes to the drivers door... splice the sunroof switch in just right... and "BAM" you have PLD control without using the switches in the door.

I didn't do it myself, it was a friend of mine, so I don't know exactly how he did it.
What I know is that he installed some kind of relay in the circuit in the doors, close to the power lock switches. The relays only allow power to the switches when the ignition is on, just like the sunroof switch only works when the ignition is on. You use the switches just like normal, they just won't work when the car is turned off. Since the power is only cut off to the switches in the doors, the power locks themselves will still work with a keyless entry/alarm. Only the switches are affected, and only when the car is turned off.
According to him it was rediculously easy to do and I think it cost him something like $2.00 to do. I don't really understand wiring and such though, so most of his explainations went in one ear and out the other. Still, anyone here with basic knowledge of wiring/electronics should be able to figure it out from the idea itself.
