Default My suspension progress...

I recently finished up my new suspension setup on my gsr. It took a long time to get everything together for one big install. Setup includes oem type r sway bar, rear lower tie bar, Skunk2 front upper control arms, and Tein basics.

I take my car to the track but i don't auto x so that's why i decided to go with the tein basics. Eventually i might decide to upgrade to adjustable dampers but for now i'm very happy with the results. What does everyone think?

Before...

After...

Sorry for the crazy sizes of the pics.

A little low, but I bet that thing handles! Do you have an LCA's in the rear? Can you list your entire setup and what you think of it.

The car looks good but if you track the car, you should have went with the Flex instead of the Basics.

The basics ride really smooth, It handles corners like a beast. It doesn't bounce around at all.

be weary, some of their kits have problems with the springs sagging and slapping.

i think if your going to go with tein get anything from the flex-up.

hell no a CF lip would ruin the cleanliness of the car IMHO since it has the full OEM kit.

why don't you autox? It's a blast. I don't just because my car is so old and I don't have anything else.

might want to reinforce that rear crossmember if you have an ITR rear sway bar.

I have almost the same setup, but I don't have my rear sway on and I have the SS's.

no need to wait... it's actually best if you can autox a few times while the car is stock and then start changing stuff so you can really see what difference in handling the different parts make.

nice gs-r...! tell us how the auto-x goes and how you like the type-r sway bar. I was going to buy one of those, and that is the next suspension modification that I will do to my car...
