hi guys, im looking to sell my 2001 ITR py.

it has 23,xxx miles
original owner
never been in an accident
garage kept,
hasnt been driven in the past 4 years
mint condition
missing engine and transmission
no ac
includes hondata ecu
all stock except for h&r coliover struts and skunk2 camber kit
slotted and drilled rotors with hawk pads.


the car is imaculate, interior is perfect.

i do n ot know what to ask for since it doesnt have the powetrain in it.

any ideas, suggestions and advice given in a constructive view is greatly appreciatted.

was it stolen recovered?

 

clear tittle...
i pulled the engine out to build a monster and gave up on it along the way. since then the car has just been sitting in my garage, clean and waxed for 4 years

 

the power train has been sold so the car is for sale without it

good canidate for a k

 

man if you would have left it alone with those low miles i think you could get 18 or 19k for it. not sure how much its worth now though

 

Man, how in the world did you just let this thing sit around for all those years? Do you have better pics? Maybe an empty engine bay shot. Location (you can PM me the location if you don't want that info entirely public)

I guess the price could vary by a lot. Do you still have the stock wheels instead of those RSX wheels? Anything wrong with the front bumper? Scratches?

Definitely a price b/w $5k and $10k

 

How did you have an itr just sitting around in your garage for 4 years??

lol, i say $4000 max, and it's far from mint

 

well if it helps you i paid 17,995 for mine off a lot. 2001 NBP ITR, almost mint had one lil curb mark on the driver side rim, but that was it, and it had 18k miles on it..

$12k would definately be to much to ask.... The fact the chassis only has 23,xxx miles on it is nice but the drive train someone puts in it could have 123,xxx.... Once a different drive train goes in the VINs won't match which drops the price of an R.... It doens't look like the front bumper lines up right.... Just sharing my thoughts not trying to knock on you..... would be a great car to put a K in..... I bet you could get $6-8k if it's as mint as you proclaim....

bumpers not bolted up just placed on the clip for the time being. thats how it got that small scratch on the corner of it, having it off.

If it was mint condish, it would have stock wheels, no paint missing from the front bumper and from the 1 picture I can look at, a front strut brace. I say 6k You made the mistake of taking the motor out and the tranny. Why would you sell the motor and tranny in the first place? Why are there so many mysteries behind Type R's?

 

Your best bet at this point is to put a K series in it, then try to sell it.

Because there are so many jackass's out there who try stealing them, then you get the jackass's that are just jelous and key them, hit them, etc. If people would leave them alone, they would be great pickups after owners but there is just too much theft and vandalisim.

 

7k max. 12k is asking way too much. i sold my R for 12,400 and it had the original motor + tranny (65k miles).

 

$12k is too much.
