Integra LS or GSR
I have been looking for integra's and i want a GSR, but i found a 1998 LS for on 5500 perfect cond. bueatiful car. Now im wondering if the only difference between the two cars, is the VTECH comp? If not, what else is there. And couldnt i buy just the vtech comp and put it my ls, and it would be almost the sae as a gsr, or even the new greedy comp? Im new to all this, so any info will help.
trust me buy a gsr it doesnt matter if it costs more, there is a reason y it costs more. theres too many things to list but ls is good . Integra's are wicked but i think you should buy a gsr

What is VTEC comp? I'm not sure what "comp" is. The differences between the LS and GSR are engine, transmission and sway bars. Ignoring aesthetic details, most everything else is the same.

I <3 my GS (ls nonvtec motor) but most people hate on the LS's...my best advice is test drive them, insurance is also higher on the GSR and purchase price as well. I test drove an '01 Type R before I bought my GS. For the $$ difference it wasn't worth it to me,soooo I knew the GSR wouldn't be worth it. I mean I <3 vtec too and will eventually have a project with it but its up to you.
Overall GSR > LS but LS still kicks enough *** for me

what do u mean "comp"? im assuming u mean a comuter (ECU) u can buy an LS and put a GSR head and have VTEC, or other then that, i would buy a GSR

If you can't find a GSR get the LS, build the block. If you want do a vtec head swap and boost, or just boost it. It took me 3 1/2 months to find my GSR and I can say it was well worth it. I drove from STL to Chicago bought the car its a 98 for $9k with only 65k on the odometer. So really there are many options just find the one that gives you the benefits, but buying a car is a risk and reward.
