Clutch Pedal wont come back up
Ok. I have a 93 Integra (DA) with a stock LS transmission. I just replaced my clutch and flywheel. Also the pilot and throw out bearings. I got the tranny back on, i reconnected everything, including the clutch cable. Then i sit in the car and go to push in the clutch and the pedal shoots to the floor and stays there. Any ideas what is the problem, or where i messed up? Any ideas would be appreciated since i've searched for about an hour now.

Cable clutch dude.
Check the cable, make sure its routed the right way and not binding.

Oh worse case scenario to.
The spring that holds the Release bearing in on the inside of yoru trannny, if you put that back in wrong, well. time to rip it all apart again. That can cause the pedal to stick... if the spring is stuck in the wrong position.
Did you check the operation of this prior to reinstalling the transmission?

yea i checked it, i reinstalled the release bearing the same way i had pulled the other one out. i just got the motor back in the car, axles on , shift linkage, ect all back together. i dont want to have to drop the tranny. thats a bitch of a job. and i'm glad some people understand cable clutches dont have master/slave cylinders.
Yeah i know, my buddy thought he had it in right and i ended pulling the tranny off for him, and in the process of reinstalling the tranny, it appeared that the spline knocked the spring out of place, hence his pedal stuck.

the cable definately is not broken or anything because i step on the clutch pedal and the cable moves the arm, but the problem seems to be that the cable pops out of the tranny arm, causing the pedal to stick while arm moves back down. i'm not exactly sure the proper way to reconnect the cable, but i'll look it up in the book when i get home. also how far is the arm on the tranny suppose to move? i'm searching for any answer besides the throwout bearing, i need to get my car back on the road, and dropping the tranny and putting it back up is a full days work for me.
i hadnt connected the stupid cable to the tranny arm properly, and everytime i stepped on the clutch pedal, it would pop out, leaving the pedal on the floor, and me confused as hell. i had the cable far too extended, and it would appear to be secure in the arm unless i stepped on the clutch pedal. thanks again for the help.
