VTEC engagement point and Horsepower rating
What are the VTEC engagement points for the F20 and the F22 or are they different from each other? Also, does anyone know why Honda is advertising the current horsepower as 237 opposed to the original 240. Has it always been 237 and marketing rounded it up on the F20?
New rating standards had something to do with it I read. The difference of 3 hp can even vary from dyno to dyno, or dyno types.
AP1's are 6000-6300 depending on throttle position. 5800-6k for AP2's.

so than the newer s2 are better than? with the extra torqe they have than the older model and if your saying that its just the dyno it has the same horsepower as the old models. the f22 have the same hp with more torqe?

vtec should be different, since 1 is 2.0 w/ 9k and other is 2.2 w/ 8k.

how so....you get less torque(i KNow not much like 4ft-lbs??) weaker diff(or maybe the housing), granted we get the stupid clutch delay
You may have a tighter suspension, higher red line, but what else would make the AP1 so called "better" than an Ap2? besides you owning one...lol
just my .02
