impossible to push start
is it me or is it impossible to push start a crx....
A - fuel pump does not prime the motor cuz batt is dead.....(making it harder to start)
b - gear are so short that in first it lockes when u let go of the clutch and in 2nd the tires barly catch traction
c - 3rd isnt an option.....
d - im by myself

Being by yourself is a pain in itself, usually if I know my battery is dead I park on a hill and roll down until its at about 20kph and slowly let the clutch out while I'm in 2nd. I am lucky though because my car is carbed and I have a cam driven fuel pump. Best idea would be to just shell out for a new battery
Ive done this by myself before on a level surface
make sure your key is on the on position
then push the car by the door frame
one at a speed where u cant run any faster quickly hop in
hold in the clutch
put the car in first
and let the clutch out
hope it works out for you man, good luck

yea thanks for the info..but lol...i know how to push start a car...thanks for your help though (there are many people that dont kno how i guess?)
I got it running after numeruos tries....
I hooked up a ghetto house / batt charger.
house out let ----> 14.5 volt remote control charger -----> batt
lets the batt charge enough so the fuel pump would at least prime
once it primed pushed it pop the clutch in 2nd and started right up
i think it is impossible if you have a completly dead batt to push start honda's lol

why u putting it 2nd... i dont understand i never have had to do that..plus unless you have like 900 cc injectors there should be enough fuel in the fuel rail and injectors to start even if the fuel pump isnt primed..
