Sorry up to 18 psi on strate pump and 26psi with some 109 added to the tank, about 2gals to a half tank and it made 300lb/ft also. It looked like it would make more HP but we limited the red line to 8500rpm but the graph was still going up, and the motor was a fresh one it had zero miles on it.

It's a custom turbo that I built out of his last turbo.

Its even more risky running around town untuned, you can seriously hurt your motor or even blow it up that way.

IMO, after the motor has a 20 minute cam break in, or brought up to operating temp for the first time its good to go on the dyno. Never had any problems.

B16A, Wisco pistons, Eagle rods, T-top sleeves, ARP studs and bolts everything.
Head has mild bowl porting, S.S. valves(standard size), Double valve springs.
Cams are typeR. injectors are 800cc. And the AEM is tuned by us (mainly Ryan,he does all the tuning on the standalones, been doing it now for over 10years, so he better know his way around tuning these things)
So far every thing on the car is to keep it reliable.

No, it was not cheep, but it was not all done at the same time. I have seen lots of set ups were the money is spent in a killer turbo set up but nothing on fuel, or the whole set up is done but no tuning to finish it. The way we look at it, it's the whole package that makes a car that makes the HP and one that will last.
In this set up we did not make any large gains in HP from his last set, but we are using pump gas with some unleaded race gas in the mix as opposed to the C16 he was running last year. doing it at about 3psi less boost and about 2000 less rpm.(the set up we inherited was revving to about 10000rpm+. motor gave up after a year, and it is not an every day driver, so it did not have that much mileage on it.)

agreed, my 98 ITR never burned a drop of oil and ran smooth and I broke that sucker in quick. Have to get those rings seated before the cross hatch is gone...and theres not much there to work with.

I agree, but I was talking about the breakin method after tuning. Wait a few hundred miles, or run it like you stole it.
