I just realized that I'm spending a lot more money than I should be on a car that is less than 2 months old....argh! After the ICE and rims, Comptech supercharger I think I've easily got the price of a P-car here....uh oh

But these rims are true works of art - worth every penny! I almost want to just hang it in my living room vs. installing on my car!

I tried to take some pics of it next to my m3 rims to show the different types of gunmetal finish. The one on my M3 is custom SSR rims in black chrome gun-metal finish. It's glossy and similiar to chrome but in gunmetal instead. Each wheel had to be taken apart to get this finish.

The Work Meister S1 3-piece rims are a flat gunmetal finish. The fronts are 18x8.5 and the rears are 18x9.5. They are not the lightest rims in the world but definitely not heavy for a 3-piece rim.

Tires are T1-R's running 225/40 up front and 265/35 out back.

Just waiting on the car to get back from the body shop so I can install the rims. Lugs are Red Aluminum with matching locks.

Gotta love the step lip

I love how they look! I wanted some of the 2-piece on my car but I'm not to sure about the offset!

 

Never really a big fan of those wheels. To me they look heavy and not very sporty. But, I seem to be in the minority here as I have never met anyone who did not like them. Congrats anyway.
