Default Installed My First Mugen Product!

Went from AEM CAI to Mugen Air Box...Gotta say def worth the $$
Have to say if it wasn't for pictures and the Mugen Write up i would have scratched the **** out of this box....Because of the write up everything went smooth and not one scratch THanks GUYS OH and the AC still works

Current setup T1R response Header, SMSP cat, T1R power 63 cat back exhaust
and now the Mugen Air Box

Also had my trunk bar Bling Bling'd to match the lower tie bar

Killer . Looks like you bucked up and bought it brand new. This will be my next mod, hopefully.

How did you get your rear bar chrome? Did a shop actually chrome dip it? Do tell.

With the Mugen I noticed the car doesn't feel so boggy like the AEM did.....

The one thing you feel is throttle response going from the AEM to the Mugen...step on the gas and the needle starts to climb as where the AEM seemed like forever before vtec kicked in....the mugen is a little less quieter but not much more..i can still hear the vtec kick in & i think i can still scare someone walking by as VTAK is kicking in

Your probably right, but 3M makes a nice replacement for a fraction of the price.

My guess its for blocking water but I could be wrong...maybe it angles the air coming and straight in the pipe

I didn't get that part either. Maybe it's a block off plate for that little hole between the fender and the engine bay?

I just read the good old mugen intake install write up and someone posted that it was a splash guard.
