Default obd0 to obd1.......

Yea...so reading around....and everyone says obd1 is the best to go....so im running a d16a6, can i jus get that conversion harness....will that help?...or wat else do i need to get or do to get it fully obd1....and im planning to do a mini-me swap....do i gotta change that afterwards too or will it be ready for the y8/z6 head?

well you need the harness, 4 wire o2 and an ecu. i wouldnt say its really worth it unless your going to be tuning, but im an idiot

dont forget the distributor, cant use obd0 distributor you need an obd1 or obd2

wat would i need to use the obd1 disturbutor?...another set of wires?..and wats a "dizzy" been seein that around..but no clue to wat it means

there isn't OBD1 distributor that will bolt to the A6 head

just wait until you do the mini-me and swap to OBD1 at that time - OBD1 will do nothing for your stock engine

oh ayte.....not to informed on the mini me swap...will that dizzy run the same circular 7 pin plug?....or do i gotta run new wires to it?

you will need to swap connectors for the OBD1 distributor

Why isn't there an obd1 dizzy that'll fit the a6 head?

Personally, I used a d16y8 dizzy on my d15b2 (same head casing as d16a6) and just reused the obd0 plugs. I also got the ecu, and wired plugs into the car. I kept my 1 wire and just chipped the ecu to eliminate the heater on the o2 snesor.

Yea,....if anyone knows of a good mini-me write up...let me know....cuz im lookin into that.....the d16a6-y8 swap....not to sure on the z6
