Hey guys,

i got my car painted about last year, a eg si sprayed in magnesium metallic. Yet when doing some hw driving, to work an back over that year my bumper has got many rock chips, flaking of the paint etc. I dont think the painter did a good job on it, well not the best. Im wondering is there any special tricks or things you can do to stop the paint from chipping so easy? Could it be the quality of his paint?

I know i could put a bra on the car obviously, but thats leading away from my post. I was thinkin of painting it myself after reading the thread about ' $50.00 paint job '. but i dont know if that will work on plastic?

any help, tips or an DIY things would be greatly appreciated
