i am best man in a wedding in savanah, ga, that weekend. i've known the guy for 29 yrs (best friends since forever). no backing out of this commitment. i did try to have him reschedule the wedding (absolutely no dice!).

For this event, is it correct that the ECHC guys will run the tires of their choice (open tire for MA region) and the MWHC guys will run the Toyos?

i am thinking the entry is after you have the proper credentials after registration? or with your e-mail confirmation of registration? for scca events when they have security and effectively all night access, you still need the proper sticker, etc. to signify that you are part of the event and have signed waivers, etc. to come and go.

you sort of have to find the right comment in the wrong thread instead of going to the website.

The "tank" really doesn't need much to make the show...

 

I didn't think there was racing on Friday. Only practice but you would enter your race class so they could align who was practicing when if they combine groups.

I really tried but it looks as if I won't be ready. I was getting my car tuned Saturday and when doing a valve adjustment noticed some chipping on my retainers. (I believe clearance issues with my rockers.. ) So I don't want to risk it, I'm going to have to sit this one out.

BTW: my car is making nice power...

Yes, Wai, you are correct. Trophies will be awarded to overall winners in class for Saturday's race, but points will be divided up amongst MWHC and ECHC for scoring of each championship.

Yes, Tom, the track will be open to us starting at 6pm on Thursday evening and will be open from then on until 7pm Sunday night when the track must be empty.

Please stop by garage #10 and see Chris Stiffler to get all of the required MWHC decals. Chris, along w/ the help of John W. and Jason F. will be taking care of things this weekend as I won't be able to attend.

My car is finally making it's inaugural HC race as well..

I'll be there Friday - Sunday.. looks like the track opens at 4pm and is open continuously until the end of the event on sunday so people can come and go as they please..

did everyone except me rent a garage? starting to feel that way..

heck NO...not at 200 a pop!!

 

i wouldn't even split it with someone at $100 per.

with fuel at $3.00 per gallon for this summer's budget, i'm not even sure that is going to be good enough by year end. i'll save money on some of the garage extras and spend it on my own equipment budget.

Are there any electric hookups at MO? Can I run a cord from someones garage?

 

don't plan on it. i have taken things to the garages to be charged in a spot where someone i knew would be but most of the paddock areas are not close to the garages.
