whats the widest wheel you've used with good results on the 2nd gen crx?
guys,
want to hear your experiences with wide wheels. 13x8, 13x9 or even 13x10. Compomotive produces wheels of those sizes and are made to order, so offsets and PCDs can be specified. Idea is to get as much contact patch as possible, but how wide can we go before it becomes more of a problem?

I'm assuming you're autocrossing? CSP?
13x9 is pretty much as wide as you want to be with the 225 width tires. A 10" wheel won't provide any real benefit over the 9" wheel, and will be less ideal in terms of track width IMHO. You really want to keep the overall width of the car as narrow as possible.
I'm running 13x8s at the moment and I am satisfied with them, but I would probably have 8.5" or 9" wheels if money allowed. Some guys are running staggered widths, with 9" up front and 8.5" in the rear - but I'm not made of money so I have to be able to rotate tires.
