Cluster, Dash harness wires (for an alarm)
i put this here because i thinkt he crx guys might have a better idea about the harness than the security guys.
the door and trunk wires on the back off my cluser, when the door is open, do they give off a positive of negative signal. Just wondering if i can tap my alarm into the cluster wires.
The door signal, i have a positive or negative wire to use, but the trunk sensor requires a negative signal.
and just soi dont have to browse thru my huge manual, which wire shows 12V while the Ign. is on. Says connect to the ign. wire @ the switch harness. This wire must show 12v while ign is on and cranking.
the last wire i need to know about is my parkinglight output. Which is my parking light circuit. and does this circuit exceed 10 amps.

In my New Zealand new civic the door and trunk signal wires are negative, I'm guessing your trunk wire also doubles as your hood sense wire? If so you'll need a diode to stop current backfeeding and making your trunk warning light come on. After 2 years I still haven't done mine right.
