iono about pros and cons, but I could tell you taht I have a hydro tranny in my GTI and a cable tranny in my civic & probe, I prefer a cable tranny by far, it seems that there's more of a direct feeling...
Like I can't feel as much w/ a hydro tranny like you can feel it in a cable tranny, it seems like it's there but you don't feel it as much oppose to a cable tranny where everything you feel is direct....
Iono, drive a car w/ a hydro tranny, I think the driver's a major factor involved when selecting...I can't give you a pro/con list though..
I might be all wrong about the situation though, my GTI tranny might not be a regular hydro tranny, it might have some extra **** (as audi/VW tend to do...)
