Dont worry, 2 weeks and the header will be on my car, hopefully with some dyno testing before the first race, but we shall see... Don't worry guys, we will keep you updated Right now, the car is on jackstands, with lots of pipes around it..

oh yea
is this header built all for highend or will it be streetable as well?
And if we wanted to order one from Dave/SMSP, what's the lead time for another one of these headers?

right now, dave is gone for the weekend, as far as I know, it will be totally streetable, but a carsound cat would have to be purchased as well, and of course a 2.5" aftermarked exhaust to get the full potential from the header..

I will let dave know about this thread..

Will the SMSP header be fine for a mild prelude? Lets say I/H/E? ie. no internal work done?

Considering that is what my car is (honda-challenge rules), it won't be a problem..

I just had a quick question about the header and cat. I have a 95 Accord with a 98 H22A. Now i had to buy a shorter cat and make custom flanges to bolt it up cause the stock Prelude one was too long with the Accord cat-back system, now will i have to buy a 2.5 cat cause the one i have is 2.25. Or is there some way it could be provided for a price.

did Dave say about XXXUS?
Corey do you know if this will include a carsound cat and the adapting flange for 60mm catbacks? I hope so....or this thing could cost over XXXUS. This could get pretty pricy.

If the guys here get together could we do a group buy for the first batch. Kinda like a introductory offer

after looking at the 'great header test' from the ITRs...should be a bit better than mugen and for the same/less price!

we shall see.....
I won't make any assumptions till the header is out and we see some real dyno plots.
Bseries is Bseries
and
Hseries is Hseries
heh...apples to apples I guess
When was your race Corey? that's the absolute deadline of when this thing will be done right?

yea guys, just hold your horses, don't jump to conclusions please..

Dave is working very hard on it, the car is on jackstands with exhaust pipes all around it.. I am hopeing we will have time to dyno before the first race, but I don't know, I personally have SO much stuff I have to do to the car.. First race will be the 20th, but the header will basically have to be done by the 18th, we will see though... Just chill, and please don't make any assumptions on the price

Very true...I guess we sit tight and wait! hehee.

Just curious, James did you ever dyno with the mugen header? Maybe you can do another one, if you get the SMSP header. We can have our 'own' header test lol.

nope, sorry I didn't get a chance to dyno the Mugen header before I sold it. Also my engine is not like regular stock engines, so the test would not be on the same level as everyone elses.

I think you can get a Remus catbck with 2.5" or you can just buy some universal piping/mandrel bent pipes/muffler and just have someone weld it all for you, that's probably the cheapest way.

honestly, after seeing George in his ITR make such tremendous gains with only ihe (only smsp exhaust), im wondering what Corey will dyno at with a whole smsp header and exhaust system.

well, i bit the dust and bought the dc sports header. this tear in my flex pipe has been killing me.

anyway, i'm still interested in the smsp, so please let us know asap. i'll put on the dc for a couple of months then switch it out for the smsp.

well, judging by dyno figures i've seen greddy has no advantage over the dc. i was also looking for the cheapest solution to my exhaust leak right now.

juding by smsp's work on b18 motors i have little doubt they'll be able to pull some serious power figures from an h22a. then i'll be on line to purchase.

Brullen up in Canada I *think* can also make custom catbacks.

Does this mean you are going to sell your mugen exhaust as well?
