Looking for a custom size. I found a treadstone core thats 6x27x3 which is way too big. I need something around 6x12x3, can I just cut the core along the direction of the bars (its a vertical flow core) then weld a reinforcement plate over the end I cut and be good to go? Or would that cause some sort of damage to the core that I'm not thinking about?
