S1 Cable tranny problem... PLEASE HELP

well apparently the release spring on the release bearing broke.

thing is i dont know what car and tranny i can refrence to any US OEM tranny.

i need to know this ASAP, i have a road race this friday.

Does this apply for all the JDM S1 internals (except gears of course)? In particular, do the GSR YS1 syncros work in the JDM S1?
