oh ok.. well it all depends on what rod you get, whats done to the motor internally, etc,etc.. go in the forced induction section, they will be able to help you out.. But make sure to read around, and search.. then post it up.. thats the best way to get an answer for sure.

this shaving was probably to make OEM pistons fit the aftermarket rods. Tell eagle what engine you have and they will get you the exact rod to fit your engine with no modification. Your just going to have to upgrades your pistons as well so you don't have to do any rigging.

eagle rods in a d series you will have to notch the block for the rods. the rods are wider then the stock ones, therefore you would have to notch the cylinders for clearance

o ok that clears that up i feel better now. I have a couple more questions. im going to get the head rebuilt, and going to get the block honed because i dont want to mess up on it. How much estimate cost to honed d16 block? Second question is Do you know any places? sites? that have a great step by step with rebuild? this is my first rebuild.. thanks again

Go to turbod16.com there's a ton of people like myself that are doing or have done rebuilds. A honing job will only cost about 70 bucks, but youmight as well do a bore, hone, hottank AND a notch job while you're at it. http://www.terrytinney.com for your machining needs. Oh and if you do get eagles go to http://www.tunertoys.com and talk to craig. You'll need a turbod16 account, but he'll give you 10% off and they're like 318 shipped
