Iam working on a d16z6 swap in my crx and have a d16z6 longblock out of a 95 auto civic ex. Would the flywheel bolt work with the d16z6 engine?

 

its called a flywheel from the automatic, its a flex plate and no it will not work.


#3 is a flywheel (manual)
#7 is a flexplate (auto)

 

no. I know the flexplate from the auto will not work. Sorry, grammer owns. Iam talking about the clutch+flywheel from the 1989 d16a6 si crx tranny.
also, could I upgrade to putting a xtd clutch+flywheel combo made for a 1990-1991 crx si into a 1989 si tranny+1995 d16z6?

 

the flywheels are the same for d series from 89 up i believe.

 

Yes it will work with the corresponding tranny!
