Default better carbs for 1st gen crx

i'm attempting to find a reason to keep my 87 carbed HF. can i slap on a better/bigger/etc carb and gain more hp? if i can find a good, easy, cheap way to bolt something on to get more than just 60hp, i'll keep the car, but as of right now, it looks like an empty shoebox (with bald tires) sitting outside my window.

look into some EDM or JDM dual carb setup, they came stock on some motors. never available here.

He answered your original question. You asked if they would make more hospower, right? bigger carbs will do that

I would like to see this be done, I've seen it be done already once before, but I definately think we need more people doing this!

There was a guy in here, that did a dual carb conversion I think on his 1st gen crx, I'm pretty sure that's what he did, it was only a couple of weeks ago that I stumbled upon it, have you looked for it yet?

Go to the link. This guy bought my 87 CRX and changed out the carb beacuse the old one had a sticky float and kept flooding. Good info for a carb swap.
