can i put a d16a1 88-89 integra head on my d16a6 engine block.i think is possible because the two motor are d series engine.

 

No, the D16A1 is not compatible with the A6 or any other sohc D-series motor.

 

so what dohc head fit on my d16a6 block.

 

none... to put it simply

 

i dont think there is a DOHC head to swap to your block..you could go w/SOHC VTEC....(d16z)(d16y)...go gain in HP..

 

suposidly it will bolt on not to start a argument but it will the oil holes dont line up and such but it wll but the compression would suck and it wouldnt run right most likely.... get a d16z6 or y8 head for vtec and the y8 head will up ur compression ratio also
