The best advise I can give you, is to find a Helm service manual for the car. It should have step by step instructions. Have fun

I am pulling the tranny out of my 92 LX this weekend and I am not pulling the motor. I am sure it would be 100 times easier with the motor out but I am getting it done leaving the motor in the car just the same....

no need to pull the motor or lift it up,,, tranny will come out easily,, i would also reccomend getting the HELM book , it will make the job easier..

you will need a few good jack stands, loosen the axle nuts while car is still on the ground. if you do not have any air tools and proper equipments .. it will be a long job .. make sure to drain the tranny ..

you will have to jack the front end up and put a set of jack stands underneath for support and safety. Also, get a couple of decent 2x4's to support the engine and tranny when you are dropping it out the bottom.
